Why do I need an appointment?
In order to create a magical, memory-making experience, we need to focus on the client we’re serving, not worry about how long the line is. Your appointment means that you have our complete and undivided attention, which results a more relaxed atmosphere, additional privacy, fewer distraction and better pictures.

What should I bring with me? 
Whatever you wish! Props. Your child’s special blankie or bear. The sweater Grandma knit. Even the family dog or hamster. If you do choose to include your pet, please make sure that Fluffy is on a leash and Spike is in his crate.

How many “wardrobe changes” can I have?
If your child wants to play Diana Ross, feel free to let her (or him!) have as many wardrobe changes as he or she wishes. Just remember that time spent changing clothes will not be time spent taking pictures, so you may have fewer photos as a result.  We recommend 1 change of clothes (for a total of 2 outfits) per sitting.

How long are the appointments?
Your appointment is 45 minutes long—or as long as the attention span of your little star. Please be on time for your appointment. If you’re forty minutes late, your appointment will only last five minutes, which isn’t fun—or productive—for anyone.

Can I get my kids picture taken with their friends/cousins/playgroup?
Yes, however additional charges/time may apply. Please call us for details.

What props do you have in the studio?
We have a different philosophy on props than most studios.  We think that they exist only to bring out the personality of your little ones, not to distract from the photographs.   So, we have classic looking "toys" to serve that purpose--like old fashioned airplanes, gumball machine, tea party sets, a retro pedal car, and more.  Props to you if you want to bring your own!  Please refer to the How We Do It Section of the website or the photo gallery page for more information.

What if I don’t like the pictures?
We’ll work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen, but if it does, you won’t pay a dime.  Of course, you won't get to keep your cd or any prints, but you probably already knew that!

When will my pictures be ready?
Good things come to those who wait...but you won't have to wait too long (only about 5 business days after your appointment ends). We’ll schedule a showing appointment to view your photos after your sitting.  At that time, we can create black/white, antique tones and other enhancements for you. Please allow about 45 minutes for this appointment, and be sure to bring along anyone you need to make decisions--this is your only opportunity to select the prints you want with your package. When we’re done, you’ll leave with your CD with every image.  If you want us to print and/or frame your photos we'll have them wrapped and ready to roll in a few days.   

Can I get more than one CD?
Sure! You can have as many as you want. The cost is $20 for each additional CD if you let us know before you leave with the first CD. After that, the cost is $50 per CD.

What will be on the CD?
Your CD will include every quality photo from the session (we average 35), both candid and posed shots. Each photo will be in a format suitable for printing up to an 8x10, and perfect for emailing, or posting to personal websites.   You can view, share, and purchase the photos via our password protected "see it" page for 2 weeks after your showing. 

What if I have to cancel?
We understand that plans don't always work out, well, as planned--especially with kids.  But, we reserve our photography suite just for you, and often have to turn other people away.  So, please make sure that you give us at least 48 hours (1 week from October 1 - December 26) notice to avoid being charged in full for your sitting.   (The fine print:  our seasonal events are often "pay at the time of scheduling, no cancellations or refunds" as they are very limited in the number of families we can serve.)
